Alwyn has just landed a role in the star-studded film “The Brutalist,” alongside Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones, and Guy Pearce.
Directed by Brady Corbet, the period piece promises to deliver both monumental heights and devastating lows, as it follows thirty years in the life of an artist and his enduring creative journey.
“The Brutalist,” tells the story of visionary architect László Toth, played by Brody, and his wife Erzsébet, portrayed by Jones, as they flee post-war Europe to rebuild their legacy in America. But their lives are forever changed by a mysterious and wealthy client, played by Pearce.
While details about Alwyn’s character are being kept under wraps, fans can’t wait to see the talented actor on the big screen again after his recent roles in Lena Dunham’s “Catherine Called Birdy” and the Hulu adaptation of Sally Rooney’s best-selling novel “Conversations With Friends.”
As Alwyn gears up for his next big project, Swift is continuing her groundbreaking “The Eras Tour,” with upcoming shows in Tampa, Florida. She recently made her first public appearance after the breakup, stepping out in New York City for dinner with Jack Antonoff and his fiancée Margaret Qualley. Interestingly, the meal took place at Via Carota, a West Village hotspot just blocks away from Swift’s former Cornelia Street apartment, sending Swifties into a frenzy of speculation online.
