According to members of her family the Duchess has lied about a slew of things to her husband and his family. Meghan’s sister Samantha Markle has claimed that one of the reasons the actress turned duchess has kept her entire family at arm’s length is because she has lied about a lot of things to the royal family, and she is worried about those things coming to light.
Samantha who sued her sister for defamation after the infamous Oprah Winfrey interview appeared on the conservative Tucker Carlson Show to voice her discontent. She unveiled on the show that she and the rest of Meghan’s family were left confused when they were cut out after her engagement to Britain’s Prince Harry.
“We were kind of puzzled when both sides of the family were kept away from the royal wedding. And we started wondering, ‘What’s up with this?’” The estranged sister said.
“We started to realize, when you have a wedding and people start drinking champagne at the reception, they start talking. So, what could the motive be for keeping both sides of the family away? The stories would come out.” She added.
She then went on to imply that Meghan had fed all sorts of lies about the family and herself to the royal family. Even telling Carlson that Meghan told the royal family she had worked at the embassy when she only attended a study program paid for by her dad.
“Be proud of who you are. You don’t have to dress like Diana. I feel like she missed the boat. Why lie and try to be something you’re not?” Samantha concluded.
We cannot say for sure who is right and who is wrong, but lying about one family to another one is wrong in any context.
