M.O.D.O.K, the quantumverse in all its glory, and Kang the Conqueror, what else can we ask for? There is all that and more in Marvel’s new dynasty-setting saga of Ant-Man & The Wasp, Quantumania. Packed to the brim with action shots and hot scenes the movie’s trailer gives us just a glimpse into the mayhem coming our way. This film will introduce Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, the prime antagonist for the upcoming Marvel phase, his portrayal of this beloved villain is truly something to see. That being said, Paul Rudd and the rest of the cast as well give the performance of a lifetime. All of this can be ascertained from just the small trailer released Monday night during the College Football Playoff National Championship. The trailer also showed two versions of Paul Rudd, hinting to the audience that some multiverse shenanigans were still at play.
Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania will be the start of a long and infinitely entertaining slew of projects coming our way from the powerhouse that is Marvel Studios. This movie in particular will introduce audiences to the proper villainy of Jonathan Major’s Kang, which just hinted at in the ever-popular Marvel series Loki. Kevin Feige has said that phase five will be one of the most exciting phases to come from the studio with projects like, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Marvels, Secret Invasion, and Ironheart coming our way. I for one cannot wait to explore the phase of Marvel Studios.
